About the opportunity

Become a Tomorrow ready volunteer and support your local community before, during and after a natural disaster!

Community Gateway is a not for profit, registered charity formed in 1976. 

We provide welfare and community capacity building programs for disadvantaged individuals and communities. Our services and programs extend to the Far North Coast, New England, Mid North Coast and across New South Wales. 

We are looking to empower members of the community, by providing the skills to assist before, during and after a natural disaster. 

What will a Tomorrow Ready volunteer do? 

  • Be trained and empowered to support the Northern Rivers community.
  • Attend regular training sessions face to face and online if able to. 
  • Complete a National Police Check (cost covered by us) 
  • Complete a Working with Children Check 

What do we do for you? 

  • Be part of a like –minded volunteer community with rewards, recognition and social events. 
  • Free training.
  • Part of a community driven organisation. 

Please note: Volunteers will need to reside in the Northern Rivers, NSW region.
