About
Multicultural Aged Care Services (MACS), situated in North Geelong, is a not for profit organisation and registered charity that cares for over 200 elderly residents and clients both in their own homes or in our residential facilities; Borrela House, Mary Costa House, Annie O’Malley House, Gerda’s House and Bella Chara.
MACS has over 60 volunteers who assist staff in delivering lifestyle activities to our residents, gardening and running Stella’s Cafe and MACS Boutique. They give over 1300 hours of service each and every month, across 11 different programs. Volunteers allow us to provide a diverse social and lifestyle program for our resident and like our residents, come from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. They keep our residents and Home Care Consumers connected to their community and most importantly, they become part of the MACS community and form beautiful friendships with our residents.
