Melton Secondary College has provided young people in the Melton area with successful futures since 1975. We are a medium sized, single campus, co-educational school for students from Years 7 to 12.
Large enough to offer a challenging and diverse curriculum, the school is small enough to foster individual development. Our school is organized into three sub-schools: Junior, Middle and Senior each led by an Assistant Principal and Leading Teacher.
Students also belong to one of four School Houses. They participate in House Sports and accumulate House Points for academic and communal responsibility. The Houses have the Aboriginal names of local creeks: Djerriwarrh, Kororoit, Pywheitjorrk and Yangardook.
High expectations, well-planned courses and high quality teaching ensure that all students progress through the curriculum in a systematic manner. Students are challenged and encouraged by highly qualified and committed teachers to achieve high academic results in both the core and co-curricula programs.
